Telework Exchange and Adobe hosted the complimentary Telework in a Box event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Government agency and industry professionals discussed telework best practices in telework management and technology. The event focused on the requirements of Public Law 111-292, the Telework Enhancement Act of 2010, and addressed key considerations when establishing a telework program. Panelists also discussed how to manage a distributed workforce and leverage collaborative technologies that support a telework environment.

Joseph Hvorecky of GSA discussed the agency's telework dashboard, a collaborative measurement tool to capture the benefits of telework.
Judith Royal of NRC shared the key elements of the agency's telework program success and noted how it has helped the agency to earn recognition as one of the best places to work for several years.
The second panel of the morning included representatives from Adobe, Patent and Trademark Office, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
Michael McGill of PTO provided great insight on the technology solutions PTO uses and the agency's successful pilot programs.
John Rogge of NRC discussed the many components and considerations that go into developing and maintaining the agency's telework program.
